You are cordially invited to a wedding…

The date has been picked; the planning has begun. All that’s needed now is a groom.

Angela never saw herself asking a complete stranger to marry her, but with her wedding drawing closer, she’s left with little choice. The arrangement is simple. Convince her parents they’re head over heels for each other, get married, and then go their separate ways.

But she didn’t anticipate her heart having plans of its own.

Tristan thought he was meeting her for their first date, but ends up getting a marriage proposal instead. His past makes it easy to understand why Angela needs a fake fiancé. And how hard could it be to go along with her charade anyway?

But his feelings never agreed to play by the rules.

Neither of them considered what would happen when faking it stopped being enough. What do you do when you start falling for the person you’re marrying?

Happy reading.

Goodbye 2019

I stayed up into 2020, working on my current book, not even knowing it was midnight until I heard the fireworks going off outside my window. But here we are, a new decade. And I’m so excited to see what this year, and decade, brings.

But as for 2019, well:

I published three books.

Wrote eight books, 560,422 words, give or take. (Definitely more give lol)

Got much better at making edits.

Designed all the covers for my books in the foreseeable future.

And when I consider the fact that I somehow got all this done with a husband and five kids and everything else going on in my life, I definitely pat myself on the back. Because some months I wrote less words than others and I’d start to feel like I’m wasn’t doing enough, wasn’t working hard enough. I felt bad when I took a day off, when I read books and told myself if I have time for that, then I had time to work on my own. Gonna try and do better with that this year. Letting myself feel okay about taking the time away from writing when I need to. But in other ways, writing is my therapy. Writing is what makes my day, makes me happy and relaxed, so it’s a slippery, weird slope.

Anywho, in 2020 I plan to release 4 books, 3 contemporary romances and a fantasy romance, if all goes according to plan. Still working on book #15, about half way through, and just got done editing book #6 last night.

And bonus for last night, to leave 2019 on a super high note, Be My Light made it onto a reader I absolutely love’s fav reads list. So seeing that really just made my night, and really I’m still flying high off that today.

Hope everyone has a wonderful year and goes for what makes them happy.

Write soon. Bye.

Ari.

Fantasy In The Works

Okay, so book 3 is in it’s third round of edits and I’m looking at publishing it in mid-July. I’ve got the cover and title (finally) figured out. It’s a fake marriage romance and I am loving it more and more everytime I re-read it.

I’m plotting out book 11, which will be based off a character from book 10. Nervous to be writing a series, as that’s a lot of timelines and stories to match up. But very, very excited. The character just kept talking to me, so I figured I should listen, right? Plus the guy in book 10 is from book 7, so AHHH! Now to figure out a series name.

But the biggest news, for me anyway, is that I’m working on a fantasy book. I’m already 75k done with it and have another 7 or 8 (long) chapters to go. I have fallen in love with this book. Building my own world, figuring out the names, and kingdoms, what makes them different and alike. It’s all been very fun. I have been looking for the cover ever since I wrote what the main characters will look like, but haven’t been all that successful in finding anything pre-made. So if anyone knows some great illustrators, let me know.

That’s all for now. I’ll post when book 3 is available for pre-order. And I’ll even tell you guys the title now. *whispers* Just Fake It *shh*

Write soon. Bye,

Another Book Down

Book #8 is finished!!!!! If anyone had ever told me I’d enjoyed writing a love triangle so much, I would’ve thought they were lying, but… I loved it. Being able to write two guys and show the differences between them, the differences in the way the heroine felt for them and how they treated her. And of course, who she chose in the end.

In other news, All The Pieces of You have been out for a week and doing really well. I’m getting ready to send book #3 (fake marriage romance) over to the editor in the hopes of publishing that one in June. If only I could choose a title for it. I’m stuck between three that I like.

I’m almost done with book #9. I was working on 8 and 9 at the same time, so I think I have about two chapters left for that one. That one is an enemies to lover romance.

Write soon. Bye.

Another Ending and New Beginnings

I’ve finished book 3, a fake fiance romance. I have yet to figure out a title for it, but I’m so happy with the way it turned out. Once again, I had to convince myself that any other book I write doesn’t have to be as long as book 1. When the story is done, it’s done.

I finally found a cover for book 2, the singe dad romance. I was really heartbroken when the covered I was dying for got sold, but the new one is beautiful and I’m fits the title better anyway.

Just a reminder that Be My Light is up for pre-order and going live on Oct. 15th. Here’s the link.

I’ve started book 4 and have about 17k words written for that one so far, but because the words weren’t coming to me as naturally as they have with the other books, I switched it up and started book 5 last night. So far, I have over 1,800 words written for that one. I think I’ll stick with this one and go back to book 4 later. We’ll see.

Write soon. Bye.

Big Things Are Happening

So much has been going on. Most importantly, I’m well on my way to putting my first book, Be My Light, up for pre-order on Amazon. I can’t even believe it’s happening. The final round of editing has been sent back to my editor and then I have to read over it one more time and that’s it! The blurb was a test of my sanity, but luckily for me, I had an incredible friend (who’s also an author) help me out GREATLY and we ended up with a good one. Just picking what options you want on Amazon and entering all the info to publish is both exciting and daunting.

It will officially release on Oct. 15th. There’s 2 playlists that go with the book that I will be posting a link for in a few days. I hope anyone reading this will check it out and think about buying it.

On to my second book (the single dad romance), I have a title, and am looking at covers. That one will be going to the editor after I publish the first book.

I’m currently working on book three and hit my goal of writing 50k for this month. I have no idea what the title will be yet, but it’s another romance (obviously). A fake fiancee romance. I love it and it’s required so much research.

I’ve plotted out two more books and now I can’t decide which book I want to start after I’m done with book 3.

Of course, when I put Be My Light up for pre-order, I’ll post the link in a new post.

Write soon. Bye.
